The LiveOps On Demand Contact Center platform includes a Phone Panel that is both an interface to the LiveOps presence server and also provides soft phone telephony controls for agents. You can integrate this functionality into your own custom desktop application using the LiveOps Desktop Integration API. The Desktop Integration API handles communications with the LiveOps platform and gives you the ability to customize your agent experience. The Desktop API provides the following kinds of functionality:

  • Event notification (e.g. login, logout, call arrival, call termination)
  • Activity logging
  • Telephony controls (e.g, conference, transfer, hold)
  • Dial Out
  • Screen pop
