Type of Update Description
New Feature #1

Add support for replies to Facebook comments—Previous version of Engage only displayed comments on Facebook posts. Replies to comments now appear in the message thread in the Engage Message Panel.

Note: If you reply to a comment on a Facebook post using the Message Panel, the reply is always attached to the parent message in Facebook.

How do I enable this feature?

No user action is required to enable this feature.

Enhancement #1

Support for Twitter direct messages longer than 140 characters—In previous versions of Engage, customers could send long Twitter direct messages. However, the Message Editor would truncate those messages at 140 characters and would include a link to the message on Twitter.

The Message Editor now displays Twitter direct messages of up to 1,000 characters. If the message is longer than 1,000 characters, the message is truncated and there is no link to the message on Twitter.

Note: Agent replies to direct messages are limited to 160 characters.

Bug Fix #1

Issue—The timestamp of chat transcripts contains the date and time of the server's time zone, not the tenant's time zone.

Fix—This bug fix ensures that the timestamp reflects the tenant's time zone.

Bug Fix #2

Issue—The Agent Summary by Team report in Multichannel returns data that is one day ahead — for example, if a report is run for 23 September, the report shows the data for 24 September.

Fix—This bug fix corrects the problem with the dates. The Agent Summary by Team report now returns data for the date specified when the report is run.
