Cannot Log into Phone Panel

 

Ask the user to logout and then clear their cache, delete cookies and files and log back in.

 

NB/ If these options are not available to any user then the following will have to be carried out by a system administrator or someone who can access these settings by logging in to the work station

 

Users using Internet Explorer Version 7 and beyond

 

Clear your cookies and Temporary Internet Files

 

To do this from your internet explorer screen select Tools à Internet Options

 

 

 

The following screen appears;

 

 

Click on the ‘Delete’ key under ‘Browsing History’

 

The following screen appears;

 

 

Click on ‘Delete Cookies’ button and confirm deletion.

Click on ‘Temporary Internet Files’ button and confirm deletion.

 

Users using Internet Explorer Version 6

 

Clear your cookies and Temporary Internet Files

 

To do this from your internet explorer screen select Tools à Internet Options

 

 

 

 

Click first on ‘Delete Cookies’ and then on ‘Delete Files’. 

You will be prompted to confirm each delete, select ‘OK’ in each instance.  There may be a delay completing either of these deletes

Refreshing screen

 

When odd behaviour in screens is experienced ask the user to right click on the screen that they are experiencing an issue on until they find ‘refresh’ as an option, select this option and the individual screen will refresh.

Get user to log out and in again and when in the home screen they should also select ‘Ctrl+F5’ buttons at the same time on your keyboard.
