Step 1. In the engage User Setup "Edit" the user that needs chat notification enabled.
Step 2. Click on the "Rights" tab and make sure that "Automatic message delivery" and "Enable
Agent Alert" is ticked in the "Other" section.
Step 1 and Step 2 Must be performed by the Multichannel Admin
After you have ticked the boxes and saved the changes the agent's browser might ask to accept automatic notifications. Please click on the accept button.
