Edit existing Twitter Account Details

 

 

Click edit  on any existing Twitter account, screen displays;

 

 

  • Account Name
  • Twitter UserID
  • The uniqueid assigned to your account by Twitter Admin
  • Access Token
  • This detail is only displayed if logged in as a super user
  • Access Secret
  • This detail is only displayed if logged in as a super user
  • Created By
  • The userid of the agent who created this Twitter Account in multichannel
  • Created
  • The date / time stamp this Twitter Account was created in multichannel
  • Last Polled
  • This is the date / time that we last polled Twitter for any outbound / inbound tweets, mentions, searches, hashtags, direct messages or any new followers
  • Enabled
  • You can disable any traffic from your Twitter Account into multichannel by un-ticking this field.  When you want to enable it again (you want to recommence receipt of Tweets to this Twitter Account in to multichannel) tick this field.  When enabled Twitter Admin will send to us up to 3200 Direct messages / Mentions and 1400 searches . We will ascertain which of these messages we have not previously received and create the new messages in multichannel
  • Settings - New follower template
  • For any new follower of this account on Twitter we can send a welcome template message to the customer. This message will be a direct message but we will not flag the customer as being one that we follow as a result of this auto response.
  • Please note at present this template needs to be a manual template in order for it to appear in this drop down list.  Please set to be modes = manual and auto response to ensure continuity in processing.
  • Settings - Customer Group for followers
  • For each new follower of this account on Twitter we will assign the customer to the customer group as nominated here
