To run reports, go into the Reports Console by clicking on the reporting icon on the Home screen. Only those users with access rights to reports will see this icon
Clicking on the reports icon will display a list of the reports by functional area;
Move the mouse to any of the functional areas and the individual reports applicable to this functional area will display;
Click on the report / dashboard name and the parameter details applicable to the report will display;
Timespan
You are now able to select the date parameters by clicking on the applicable timespan option, by default the timespan = today, which is the date that is displayed on the left hand side of the screen directly below the report name. Timespan options are available;
Filters
Where filtering options are available on a report the default may be that there is no filter selected (i.e. – select a Team --). Leaving the filter option as per this default will not run your report for all filtered options; basically you will not get any information. In this example you must select a team to get details reported on.
In this example the filter option defaults to a valid filter type;
Select the applicable filter option(s).
Filters can be toggled on and off to get more real estate on the screen, this is done by clicking on the toggle.
Running Reports
When some reports are first selected the data will be appear immediately. The button will refresh this display with the current data.
Date and time stamps in Multichannel
Date Format – The date format that displays on each report are taken from the language preference applicable to the user’s internet explorer setting. Currently the supported date formats that will display are any English preference and German. In Internet Explorer if the setting Tools – Internet Options – Languages display any of the following then the date formats applicable to these settings are supported.
Print Reports
Any displayed detail can be printed directly from the screen. Right click on the screen itself and select ‘print’. The report details should shrink to fit across the portrait page width.
The print capability applies to all reports and all dashboards.

Report Rendering Limits
A new field has been added to General Settings – User Interface Settings for Report Render Limit. The field is only visible to resellers and support people. This field will define the maximum number of rows to be returned when a report displays. Once this limit is reached there will be no data displayed in the grid once your report has been run but rather the following message will display;
Clicking on ‘Download report instead’ will export a csv version of the entire report. There is still the options to export to both txt and csv file. Exporting a report will still export all possible reporting rows.
The default Report Render Limit for all newly deployed / upgraded sites is set to 5000. If a report contains more than 5000 rows, the report will no longer display in the report grid.
Example of a report that has exceeded the report rendering limits;
When you click on the ‘Download report instead’ link the behaviour is the same as when you click on the ‘Export to: csv’ option.
Export To
There are 2 options if you wish to export and download your reports. These are csv (comma delimited) and tsv (tab delimited). Screen displays;
Select the required export to option csv or txt. Regardless of option taken the display will be;
Click on the Click to download and the screen will display for csv;
Open or save as a csv file.
Click on the Click to download and the screen will display for txt;
The file name will default to the report name plus the selected parameters. But please rename your reports so they give significance to the data that is contained within the report. That is if the report is an Inbound Category Report for the week starting 04/11/2011 then you should name the report accordingly.
Navigation within reports
Navigating to other reports can be done by clicking on the drop down list once you are in reports. Scroll bars allow you to locate and select the applicable report;
