  1. Style Sheets

The creation of Style Sheets allows you to customise areas of the application that require neatly formatted ‘forms’ – for example

  • Web Chat Style Sheets – the most reliable way to create a new style sheet for web chat is to clone the DefaultWebChatStyleSheet
  • Web Chat out of business hours, no agents available, and web chat unavailable web forms all require a stylised form.  See Admin – Enquiry Forms for details on setting up.
  • Any link that is being sent in an outbound email which when clicked on displays a customised form that when completed will be emailed back in to your Multichannel instance. See Admin – Enquiry Forms for details on setting up.
  • Any offer that is to be made to a customer browsing a website that is being tracked within Multichannel.

Style sheets are only available for Admin Users if one of the following applies

  • chat enabled
  • enquiry enable
  • both chat & visitor tracking enabled (really just need chat available)
  • or a combination of all 3

To locate the Templates page go to Administration à Style Sheets

  • Name
  • The name given to each Style Sheet
  • Created
  • The data and time stamp that this Style Sheet was created
  • Clone
  • Clicking on clone allows you to create a copy of the selected style sheet
  • Edit
  • Click on the edit button to make modifications to any of the settings.
  • Delete
  • Click on the delete button to delete an existing style sheet then confirm you wish to delete the style sheet or select cancel to retain it.  Note – if the style sheet is assigned to any part of the application you will be unable to delete.

Click on add style sheet.

Style Sheet creation and editing is a function that we advise is carried out by persons with the applicable knowledge for writing html and css.  An example Style Sheet is as follows;
