Conversation Start Delay after accepting calls

Table of contents

When utilizing WebRTC within CxEngage, the carrier maximum allowed connections per second can influence your conversation start time. If the CPS is fully utilized, then the conversation start time will wait for the next available port to open, resulting in the conversation start delay.

Log into your Twilio Sub Account and follow the Programmable Voice path on the left menu and click on Settings. Look under the Calls Per Second section to determine if you have enough ports. We recommend a minimum of 5 current calls per second setting. The default option is 1, this needs to be increased to accommodate additional volume.
