How to unblock Microphone

Overview

When using Skylight or CxEngage for the first time, the agent needs to Allow the use of the microphone. If the agent accidently blocked the microphone, follow the below steps to resolve the problem.

Resolution

 

Step 1: Open your Chrome Web Browser and go to the Settings menu.

Step 2: Click on the Advanced Menu.

Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the Privacy and Security section and click Content Settings.

Step 4: In the Content Settings Menu, click on Microphone.

Step 5: Under the Block section, remove any website listed by clicking on the trash can on the right side to remove the sites from the blocked list.

Step 6: Close Chrome and re-login into the Skylight product. When prompted to use the microphone, always click Allow.
